You know, when I first conceived this idea(no pun intended, just a happy accident-- oh god, I can't stop!) ANYWAY. When I first figured out the robots Roeke would be fighting were sent by her ex I thought to myself that I had found my story's final boss and main villain. Now, overall, I still see Nyant that way, but the dude has some valid points. I can certainly symp/empathize with him and anyone who might agree with him. I just think Roeke, while not perfect, is MORE right.
Also, those robots ARE trying to kill her, right? Is Nyant a really shitty programmer? Does he WANT her dead? Or are those robots seriously messed up, themselves?
Well, you might have some hints in the next couple weeks that you can draw some conclusion from. Until then, keep on rocking in the free world.
Spoiler alert, they are getting into this again. And this is gonna be the big one, folks.
I was gonna leave the cover over Guardian white, but I thought "this is a pseudo apocalyptic world, I'm sure this was the first good sheet they could find... they don't' have the luxury of color choice and thread count" So... pink. Deal with it. *hifiveshimselfforbeingthebestatworldbuildingandcolorchoice*
If nothing else, I feel like I'm pretty good at using facial expressions to augment the dialog and the scene in general. I'd really love to find some *real* artists to work with, though.
See y'all next week!
Especially not peaceful rides down the river on a stolen dock!
I'm a little behind this week, so another short blog, but I hope you enjoy the page!
